Terms & Conditions
Alpine Ibex Transfers
Article 1: Booking and Payment
- Booking Confirmation: A booking is only considered confirmed once the required deposit has been successfully processed.
- Remaining Balance: The remaining balance of the transfer fare must be paid directly to the driver at the end of the journey. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Credit/Debit Card, or Payment Link.
- Pricing: All our prices are fixed, fully inclusive of taxes, tolls, and standard airport parking fees. There are no hidden fees.
Article 2: Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- Free Cancellation: Clients may cancel their booking for a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Beyond this point, the deposit is non-refundable.
- No-Show: If a client fails to appear at the designated pick-up location within 60 minutes of the landing time (provided there is no flight delay) or 30 minutes for hotel/resort pick-ups without contacting us, the driver will leave, and the deposit will be retained.
Article 3: Flight Delays & Diverted Flights
- Flight Delays: We monitor all flights and do not charge extra fees for delayed arrivals. If your flight is delayed and the new arrival time overlaps with your driver's next scheduled transfer, we will actively attempt to assign another driver to you. If no alternative driver is available, we will cancel the transfer and issue a full refund of your deposit.
- Diverted Flights: If your flight is diverted to a different airport, the original transfer will be canceled and refunded, or a new rate will be proposed based on the new mileage and driver availability.
Article 4: Luggage & Vehicle Capacity
- Client's Responsibility: It is the client's strict responsibility to accurately declare the number of passengers, standard luggage, skis/snowboards, and baby seats at the time of booking, and to select the appropriate vehicle class.
- Excess Luggage: We are not responsible if excess or undeclared luggage does not fit in the vehicle. For strict safety and legal reasons, the driver has the right to refuse overloaded vehicles or excess passengers. In such cases, the transfer will be canceled on the spot, and the deposit will not be refunded.
Article 5: Onboard Rules & Vehicle Damage
- Eating & Drinking: Eating and drinking are allowed onboard, provided the vehicle is respected and kept clean.
- Seatbelts: By French law, all passengers must wear their seatbelts at all times. Any fines incurred due to a passenger's failure to wear a seatbelt will be billed to the client.
Article 6: Force Majeure, Traffic & Mountain Hazards
- Liability for Delays: Alpine Ibex Transfers cannot be held liable for missed flights, trains, or appointments caused by unpredictable events (extreme weather, heavy snow, avalanches, road traffic accidents, or road closures) as long as the requested pick-up time chosen by the client was respected by our driver.
- Road Closures: If authorities close a mountain road due to avalanche risk or extreme weather, the transfer will end at the closure point or a safe drop-off location, and the full fare will remain due.
- Recommended Departure Times: During "black" traffic days or predicted heavy snowfall, our team may strongly recommend advancing your pick-up time. If the client refuses the earlier departure time and consequently misses their flight, we bear no responsibility.
Article 7: Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
